Tip # Two
Mix Salt or Sugar with any other liquid before adding it to oil. Example: Mix Salt with Vinegar BEFORE you added it to the oil.

Tip # Three
When cooking several vegetables together, start by cooking the hardest vegetables first, then adding the softer ones. This way you won't over cook the most delicate ones and they will retain their nutritional value.

To blanch beans use 5 cups of water per every 1 cup of beans.

Buy fresh herbs, chop them, bag them and freeze them immediately (while they are still fresh), then use them frozen to cook with.

Cut a lemon in half. Rub it against your hands, your cutting boards and other prep/cooking surfaces in order to remove onion and garlic odor.

Schedule your meals and stick to your plan. Always eat the same meal at the same time. This helps regulate your metabolism and maintain regular sugar levels on your bloodstream throught the day.

A complete protein (or whole protein) is a source of protein that contains an adequate proportion of all of the essential amino acids for the dietary needs of humans or other animals. Eating the combination of beans with brown rice is an excellent way to consume a whole protein.
